Sold Roti / Naan Oven with 30'' Disk - West Yorkshire
Description
Due to the simple design of this oven it can be operated by virtually anyone compared to a tandoor oven where an experienced tandoori chef is required. Some of the reasons for this are: In order to load or unload roti's or naans into a tandoor oven, the chef has to put his hand into the oven and so experience is necessary. Even then hands and faces are prone to being burnt occasionally. Whereas, with our oven there is no danger of this as the roti's and naans are loaded and unloaded away from the intense heat.
This oven saves you the headache of finding a decent tandoori chef as even an inexperienced worker can operate this oven. The wages you pay out are less for inexperienced staff. When your usual oven operator is off sick or absent, virtually anyone else can take his place. This is not the case with a tandoor oven.
A tandoor oven takes approximately 30-50 mins to heat up whereas this oven only requires 5-7 minutes. As a result, you save a lot of gas just in the heating up process. Also, during quieter periods you need to have the tandoor on a medium setting at least, whereas with this oven you only need to have the pilot on and turn up the heat when required and it will be ready to cook in a minute or less.
With this oven you can expand your menu. eg: keema, cheese or garlic naans/roti's. All these can be cooked by almost anyone in your employ in this oven. Our oven has a variable speed controller so depending on which recipe you are cooking, you can turn the speed up or down in order to get uniform consistency. That way all your roti/naan will look and taste the same every time.
