You are viewing a one-of-a-kind caravan conversion into a unique drinks / coffee catering trailer van with incredible potential to run a fun business that can generate some excellent income.I converted this 1986 Abi Marauder 2 Berth Caravan into this catering unit back in 2019 and was set up to run it as a small drinks bar unit for weddings and special events. It was last out in September 2019 at the Wedding Exhibition at Murrayfield - Edinburgh where I secured half a dozen bookings for people's weddings as their mobile bar drinks unit. There were also other events lined up such as car shows, music festivals etc. And then COVID came raining on the parade. Post covid, my personal and work commitments changed and this unit has been sitting inside a dry warehouse storage unit since then. It had only even been used at two small local events prior to 2020. It is an amazing opportunity for someone to add it to their existing fleet of catering units or for someone who fancies a go at running one.
I had it setup as a drinks unit. It has a brand new fridge included. There are two large 1.5 sink bowls recessed within the 18mm marine ply worktop. I would fill these with ice cubes and store drinks bottles etc in them. The drainage is then connected to large bottles underneath that just need emptied. There is a small sink also at the rear for washing utensils etc.
There is no water running to the unit. If serving hot drinks, I would have a water urn for this. It is set up to power 240v sockets. There are a few located around the unit. There is lots of storage with cupboards and shelving etc.
One of the cool features is the LED strip light that goes around the perimeter edge of the unit. Looks amazing at night time.
Laminate floor. Marine ply worktops. Stainless steel sinks. Tiled area at the back. Locking, removable windows at the serving side.
This has so much potential to be a great unit. I believe it would do very well as a coffee and cakes unit. All you would need is a decent coffee machine and you are up and running. There may be some modifications that you would want to do to get the unit to run exactly as you wish, but ultimately it is ready to go.
It is in great condition. It has been cleaned down and is ready to go.
Due to work and personal commitments, I don't have the time for viewings every day/week for this so I will only communicate with those who are genuinely interested in the unit. If a viewing is required, I will look to secure a deposit payment first before committing. If the listing is visible, it is still available. Also have it listed for sale on other platforms.
