This is a good quality wooden chopping block table with a fitted drawer and brass corner fittings, it was painted black for use a a film prop. which could be remover back to wood or rubbed down and repainted. The whole top is made of an end grain hardwood, this table is quite heavy and well made and would have been new before using as a prop.
